Polycor and Armorcote IMC products were initially developed by our sister company Cook's Composites and Polymers (CCP) in the United States. These products have been extensively used in the USA for 30 years where they account for 55% of the USA gelcoat market, and have been responsible for increasing Cray Valley’s United Kingdom market to where, 5 years after the products introduction, Cray Valley holds the market leader position.

Cray Valley Resins (SA) constructed a new state of the art gelcoat plant at it’s Isipingo Durban site in 1997, for the production of the full range of Polycor gelcoats. The new plant offers improved quality, including the ability to vacuum all products so that gelcoats are supplied in fully lined containers completely air-free. This ensures product consistency from batch to batch.
